History and about Rajsamand city of Rajasthan

Rajsamand ,the city of Rajasthan, in western India. This city is named for the “Rajsamand Lake”, an artificial lake developed in 17th century by Rana Raj Singh of Mewar. Rajsamand district was formed on 10th April 1991, and named after famous lake. Rajsamand is one of the richest district in the history , culture, religion and a mining industries. It is a town of Rajnagar is the district headquarters. Cut out from recent Udaipur District, Rajsamand District was comprised on tenth April 1991, and named after the renowned lake "Rajsamand" worked by Maharana Raj Singh.

Mewar state was also called as Udaipur state. The Mewarkingdom was set up around 530 AD. Chittorgarh, capital of Mewar was defeated by the Mughal Emperor Akhbar in 1568. Thereafter, it stayed under Mughals for the following 150 years. It was managed by a few administrations of Mori, Guhilot and Sisodia. The leaders of Mewar utilized the title "Maharana". The state includes present day areas of Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Pratapgarh, Udaipur

Udaipur, perhaps the most beautiful urban areas in Rajasthan, was established in 1557 A.D. by MaharanaUdai Singh II. As per legends, Chittorgarh was the capital of the Rajput realm of Mewar, be that as it may, since it was assaulted various occasions by the Mughals, the capital was moved to Udaipur in 1568 A.D.
